THE ORIGINAL MAQUETTE painted in Gouache in large Swiss size by Otto Baumberger himself, the director of the arts decoratifs school in Zürich. Hand-signed "B" in lower left corner. This original Gouache was painted in 1928 as the final maquette, full size, for the famous poster of the Steamship company of the Lake of Lucerne. A gorgeous painting by the Swiss Master.
